Prompt Insider is a reader-supported publication. This page explains how we make money, which relationships are commercial, and how those relationships affect what we publish, so you can judge our reviews with the full picture in front of you.
Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you sign up for a product through one of them, we may earn a commission. It never costs you anything extra, and the price you pay is the same as it would be if you went to the vendor directly.
We currently have affiliate relationships with three companies:
Searchable
AI search visibility platform
SearchScore
AI readiness audit tool
Semrush
SEO and AI visibility platform
What this means for you
Every article containing affiliate links carries its own disclosure at the top of the page, above the first link. This page does not replace those. If you are reading a review and do not see a disclosure, that article contains no affiliate links.
We sell sponsored articles, newsletter placements, category sponsorships, and display advertising. Details are on our Advertise page.
Anything a brand paid for is labeled as sponsored on the page itself. We do not publish paid content designed to read as independent editorial.
Our reviews are based on hands-on testing where we have access, plus vendor documentation, published pricing, and third-party user feedback from sources such as G2, Capterra, and Trustpilot. Where a figure is volatile, such as pricing, we date it so you know how fresh it is.
Free access for testing
When a vendor gives us free or discounted access to test a product, we say so in that article.
The scores on our reviews are editorial judgment, not the output of a formula. We do not run a weighted scoring rubric and we do not want to imply more precision than we have. A rating reflects our overall assessment of how well a tool serves the people it is aimed at, based on the evidence set out in that review.
Because the scores are judgment, the reasoning matters more than the number. Every review states what the tool does well, where it falls short, and who it is not for. If you disagree with a score, the article should give you enough to reach your own conclusion.
We decide which tools to cover. Vendors cannot buy a review, a rating, a ranking position, or the removal of a negative finding, and no advertiser or affiliate partner sees an article before it is published.
Commercial relationships do not determine which tools appear in our rankings or the order they are ranked in. Tools we have an affiliate relationship with are criticized in their own reviews, and tools we earn nothing from are rated above ones we do.
We do not publish reviews written or edited by the vendor being reviewed. We do not accept payment, free products, or any other incentive in exchange for a positive review or a particular score. We do not publish reviews written by anyone with an undisclosed financial interest in the product, and we do not suppress or edit a review to make it more favorable after a commercial conversation.
Pricing and features change quickly in this category. If you spot something out of date or wrong, tell us and we will correct it. Substantive corrections are noted in the article.
